speaking July

She brings July to his ear with her lips
And cool March to his face with her hands;
Her hand warms to August wherever it dips.
She brings July to his ear with her lips,
And personifies June in the curve of her hips.
Awash in his gaze like September's warm sands,
She brings July to his ear with her lips
And cool March to his face with her hands.
