Here are the places I frequent. And I'm sure you know enough by now to hold my opinion in a place of esteem, so check this stuff out. Unless you're not ready to be cool; in that case, you should NOT go to any of these places.

McSweeney's This site is just hilarious. I don't know any other way to describe it. It's run by or through or in conjunction with (or whatever) Dave Eggers, who is one of my favorite authors of all time.	Mr. Excel If you ever have the need for Excel assistance, this is by far the best tutorial I've ever found. In message board form, you'll get answers in mere minutes!

Ask a Ninja My favorite is #15, "Deciding Like a Ninja," but I also like #23, "Ninternships." In fact, I just played an excerpt of #23 for a telemarketer, and he hung up in fear.	Overheard in NY This is some funny schitt, people. As a rule, I find New York overwhelming, totally un-April, and basically just foreign to me in every respect, but that makes for great entertainment.

Da Smiffs Life for the Smith family--Cherine and Eric--in Indonesia is entertaining and sometimes just plain weird.	The hiking site of my one reader This is the hiking site of Lisa and Brian. I should explain that, no, I have not been abducted by aliens who implanted me with a chip that caused me to suddenly begin hiking. In fact, while I actually have hiked before (believe it!), I do not make a practice of it because I tend to fall in embarrassing (but humorous) ways/places when I do. But anyway, check out the site.

Dave Matthews Band the band's official site	Josh Groban This dude is seriously the best singer in the known realm. I'm not even joking. And I know good singers when I hear them, yo: Pavarotti, Dean Martin, my dad, etc.
deviant Art Don't worry, it's not a fetish site or anything weird like that. They've got art, wallpapers, icons, skins, cell phone downloads, photography, manipulated photos - even prose and poetry. It's like a huge message board of everything. Very cool!	allrecipes.com If you like to cook and haven't been to this site yet, you should. I don't know if it's the biggest collection of recipes there is, but it's a big one. I got a killer cheesecake recipe from them a while back. Check it out if you have an oven and enjoy eating.
